CA Supports Turkana School With Computers

Kakuma Arid Zone Primary and Junior School in Turkana County is the latest beneficiary of computers donated by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), opening up new digital learning opportunities for hundreds of pupils.

Under CA's Corporate Social Responsibility and Investment (CSRI) programme, the donation gives learners hands-on exposure to computers, building foundational digital skills that had long been out of reach due to the area's remoteness and limited infrastructure.

For pupils in a refugee-hosting county where educational resources are often stretched thin, the computers promise richer, more interactive lessons and a genuine head start in essential digital skills.

Ms. Jane Rotich, Deputy Director of CA's Western Regional Office, reaffirmed the Authority's commitment to ensuring no learner is left behind in Kenya's digital transformation.

The school is among 23 institutions that have benefited from the programme in recent days, furthering CA's mission of building a sustainable, digitally inclusive society.
