CA Director General David Mugonyi, Briefs National Assembly Committee on Supplementary Budget

CA Director General David Mugonyi appeared before the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Communication, Information, and Innovation, chaired by Hon. John K.J. Kiarie, Member of Parliament for Dagoretti South, yesterday evening, as part of the ongoing budget review process.

The CA Director General was among the parastatal CEOs under the State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunication, who accompanied Mr. Principal Secretary Stephen Isaboke for the briefing.

The session focused on deliberations around the State Department’s Supplementary Budget for FY 2025/2026, with discussions centered on strengthening the broadcasting, telecommunications, and digital ecosystems.

During the session, Mr. Mugonyi reaffirmed CA’s support on the rollout of the Digital Super Highway Projects across the country. 

The meeting was  also attended by Vice Chair of the Committee Hon. Alfah Miruka Ondieki and committee members Hon. Bernard Kitur, Hon. Dr. Gideon Kimaiyo, Hon. Flowrence Jematiah , Hon. Mark Nyamita , Hon. Joseph Tonui, and Hon. Umulkher Harun Mohamed.
